Confessions Of An Imperfect Daughter and Sister

Hi. My name is Marie. Eldest among 7, online worker and an aspiring writer.

But more than all of these, I am an imperfect daughter and sister:
  • I used to spend my whole day in front of the computer.
  • When my parents are in an argument, I can't help myself but to yell at them then cry.
  • Sometimes I use harsh words to my siblings.
  • I yell at them when I am busy and in rush for some things.
  • When my parents are away, I sometimes forget to feed my siblings their meals and give their vitamins.
  • I cry for useless things.
  • When I wake up in the morning. I straightly open my computer and I didn't even fold my blanket.
  • I'm a terrible speech-maker and party-planner.
  • I misplace stuffs a lot. I easily forget where did I put my stuffs and forget what will I say.
  • Sometimes, when I get so lazy, I forgot to brush my teeth and wash my face before sleeping. I wonder my little sister still love to sleep beside me.
  • I just recently like to wear sleeveless tops and shorts short.
Through it all, though, I am happy to report that, by God's ability to fill in our imperfections, my siblings still love me and they obey me, and (of this I am sure) they know that I love them. For me, this is what counts the most.

As for my parents, I hope they know, too, that I love them, even though I'm not like those sweet daughters. I hope they know it! comments

Smartphone is Good But Genius Phones are Better

Nowadays, a phone should not only be smart but it should GENIUS! So, what really makes a smartphone a genius phone?
A genius phone should be always on the go. We cannot imagine what life would be without internet nowadays. A genius phone should always be internet or WiFi ready and all the important applications that are very useful these days. Especially email applications such as Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and etc!

I think LG Optimus Black is sexy! It has the most attractive appearance and it has also one of the world’s best screen displayed called Nova.  It will be pretty easy and an amazing experience to browse the web, read/write emails and write documents because of its amazing touchscreen which is fast and easy to control! What really makes me excited about this one is the Gingerbread upgrade capability and the 2 MP front facing camera which I can use for high quality video chat which will be most useful for me as I really like to video chat to my friend and relatives from far places and I can also use it for video conferencing with my big bosses!  For sure, I will also love the long battery life which is 1500mAh.

What I have been really dreaming to have is the LG Optimus 2X. I think it has all the qualities to be called as a genius phone. It has a dual-core processor which can be very useful for a multitasker like me. Yes! LG Optimus 2X let us multitask without ever getting bogged down.

The 8.0 Mpx camera is what I really love about this phone. You can surely get the perfect photo you have been looking for. Yes, probably just like using a DSLR camera. The integrated LED flash is very bright. This is what I really like about this. I like taking pics of myself and the places where I will go, so it is pretty useful for me.
I know it will always just a dream to own a genius phone like this. But still, I’m hoping! Who knows? These phones will surely give me the convenience I’ve been looking for.

Optimus is more than just smart. It’s genius. Visit lgoptimus.ph for more information! comments

Can't Be Tamed

Nothing can compare how I admire Miley Cyrus. I don't know when this admiration started, I just found myself admiring her! She's awesome, strong, beautiful, kind-hearted, lovable, sexy and a real role model. I don't care what her haters say.. Through thick and thin, I will always be her fan!

 SHE CAN'T BE TAMED, so do I! Everyone might be saying she's a slut, because of the way she dressed, because of her tattoos and whatever! My admiration for her will always stay until my last breathe..

I'm sick! Only few people knows that.. I have a clinical depression.. I just discovered it recently and been confirmed the other day! Reading quotes, listening to Miley's music makes me feel a lot better.. I keep my mind busy to avoid being depressed.

If Miley would just followed me, tweet or DM me in twitter, I will do my very best to cure myself. Actually, even if she won't I still will. As long as I have her music in my heart and mind... I will continue living!

Actually, I have two options to be cured! First one is to take medicines but my doctor said its not good, because I might be dependent on drugs... and the second one is to break it myself by having fun, keeping myself busy and not let myself be alone.. That's why I'm trying to make new friends and trying to gain confidence for the better!

I wanted to be as strong as Miley.. After all the controversies in her life, her family and negative feedbacks, she still stand strong.. showing the world that no one can tamed her!

I love you Miley.. and will always will! comments

Unforgettable BretZie Moments

I come across in a BretZie Facebook Fan Page and saw this picture. Suddenly, memories came back.
I remember the sleepless nights. Sleepless because of watching live streams just to catch some BretZie moments. I was really hooked up to this tandem.

These two are really sweet inside Kuya's house.. (during PBB Teen Clash). The looks in their eyes has something. I can't forget those moments that Bret used to sing Fretzie a song. The song is:

This is always makes me "kilig" ...

 OKAY. I'm also gonna post some random photos of BretZie when they are still in Kuya's house. I really miss seeing them together on TV everyday. Here are the photos....

 SO sweet right? Here's more...

  I really can't get over of this BRETZIE FEVER.. How about you my fellow bunnies? Aren't you guys missing them? NO HATERS please... just LOVE! ♥ comments

Maturity

Life Is About Learning to Dance in the Rain by FindYourSearch

Life Is About Learning to Dance in the Rain, a photo by FindYourSearch on Flickr.

If there's one lesson we young adults ought to learn, it should be MATURITY:

  • maturity in loving;
  • maturity not to be bitter when things do not work out;
  • maturity to understand that life could be unfair;
  • maturity not to make things worse;
  • maturity to realize that there are things we can't change and;
  • maturity to accept them gracefully even if it does hurt the most.

Breakeven

I'm falling to pieces...
 Duh.. It was my line before, but not anymore!
Have you ever been so madly in love to someone?
And then, they will just broke your heart into pieces?
DAMN!
I was in a relationship 2 or 3 years ago, and it was my first love. o.O
I never thought that feeling will end.. I thought it was perfect, but I thought wrong!

I don't know what happened, it just ended in a blink of an eye.
It gives me sleepless nights.. (just sleepless, but I didn't cry!)

I just love the song, and Maddie Jane.. She sang that song so well.

By the way, I am completely healed now. My broken heart is already fixed.. and it is happy right now! :)
Someone told me..

No one realizes the beauty of love until you're caught in it.

Unconditional Love

This love is unconditional affection with no limits or conditions: completely loving someone.
It's when you trust the other with your life and when you would do anything for each other.
When you love someone you want nothing more than for them to be truly happy no matter what it takes because that's how much you care about them and because their needs come before your own.
You hide nothing of yourself and can tell the other anything because you know they accept you just the way you are and vice versa.

It's when they're the last thing you think about before you go to sleep and when they're the first thing you think of when you wake up, the feeling that warms your heart and leaves you overcome by a feeling of serenity.
Love involves wanting to show your affection and/or devotion to each other. It's the smile on your face you get when you're thinking about them and miss them.

Apple and Pear Tarte Tatin

tarte tatin ˌtär(t)-tä-ˈtaⁿ: a caramelized apple tart that is baked with pastry on top and then inverted for serving
Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

What you need:
4 pcs firm ripe pears
4 pcs Granny Smith apples
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
   (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, and 1/4 tsp cloves)
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp dark rum
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
puff pastry dough
   (or 3 parts flour, 2 parts egg, 1 part water, kneaded together)
vanilla ice cream and walnut streusel (optional)

What to do:
  1. Peel, core, and quarter apples and pears.

  2. Mix with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and orange juice. Set aside.

  3. In a deep 12-inch heavy skillet, melt butter and sugar, stirring occasionally. Boil 1 minute.

  4. Add pears and apples. Cook over moderate heat, turning fruits occasionally but carefully so as not to break them. Gently stir syrup until it thickens, which takes about 20 minutes.

  5. Stir in rum and lemon juice. Simmer, turning fruit and gently stirring frequently until syrup is evaporated and the fruits are golden brown. Takes about 10 minutes.

  6. On a lightly floured surface, roll out pastry dough into a 12-inch diameter, 1/4-inch thick circular sheet. Drape over fruits and tuck edges between fruits and rim of the dish. Use a knife to cut several vents in the pastry.

  7. Bake in the tart in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

  8. Turn the tart over on a serving plate and let stand 5 minutes.

  9. May be served with ice cream and walnut streusel.
PS: I don't have rum, allspice, and nutmeg in my kitchen, and I won't buy them because I probably will never use them again after this recipe. So I'll just skip the rum and nutmeg, and substitute the extra cinnamon and ginger for the allspice. (It should be extra cinnamon, ginger and cloves, but I don't have cloves either.) The cinnamon, I will buy because I know I can use it in chocolate milk and coffee.
