When you go into business for yourself, you become an entrepreneur. This is a special breed of human being. Entrepreneurs are self-starters and go-getters. They don't wait for others to show them the way. They blaze their own path, and dare others to follow. They are truly the ones who lead by example and inspire the rest of us to follow, or to imitate them as best as we can.
Speaking of imitators, it's an old axiom that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". They also claim that no idea is truly original, and that all of the great innovations that shaped the history of mankind have been achieved by people who were "standing on the shoulders of giants".
