Foursquare is FUN!

I got curious what foursquare is before when I still don't have a smartphone. I always see my twitter friends use this app in my Twitter timeline and when I got a phone that is smart, I finally found out what it was.

According to Wikipedia, Foursquare is a location-based social networking website for mobile devices, such as smartphones. Users check in at venues using a mobile website, text messaging or a device-specific application by selecting from a list of venues the application locates nearby. Location is based on GPS hardware in the mobile device or network location provided by the application. Each check-in awards the user points and sometimes badges.

My foursquare profile.
I'm not a traveler or an explorer but since I got this app in my phone, I can't stay at home. lol. I always find a way to go out to any places and use this app to check in.

I enjoyed earning points and getting badges as awards for my check ins.

Oh, by the way, I am not from New York. I just posted it there for fun. Hahahaha! :)

Foursquare has something like Facebook too. You can like one of your friend's check in status or comment in it. And if you check in, you have options to share your check in to your other social networking accounts like Facebook and Twitter. If you have Instagram, you can use it too.

If you are in a place you're not familiar with, you can click that EXPLORE tab to look for best restaurant, bars, malls and many more.

Miley Cyrus' Unwanted Visitor... AGAIN?!

Most of my online pals know how much I idolize the Hannah Montana superstar; Miley Cyrus. I've been following updates about her 24/7 and no, I am not a stalker. I'm too far to stalk her. She's in The U.S.A. and I am in the Philippines.

I understand the likes of me how they admire Miley. I know because I'm that kind of fan too. From buying anything where her face or name is there to buying posters of her and of course listening to her songs. Name it and I have done it, except the stalking thing, of course.

Well, it seems that our teen queen has attracted another creepy fans. And by creepy, I mean those who idolizes her and do undesirable acts.

In March last year (2011), a man named Musa Danasabe Ibrahim attempted to break into Miley's home but to his misfortune, he jumped the fence Miley's neighbor instead and before being arrested for trespassing, he said he had a date with Miley Cyrus.

And the most recent one, a man with scissors showing up outside her home in Los Angeles and he claimed that he is her husband (seriously?).

The teen queen wasn't home when Jason Luis Rivera make his way in Miley's home by jumping through the fence and he even knocked on the door and claiming he know Cyrus very well.

When he was interviewed by the police, he said he is a friend of Miley Cyrus and she is his wife and also they have been friends for five years. And since it is very obvious that he is not by any means related to Miley, Rivera is currently being held on suspicion of burglary and trespassing charges.

Week in Pictures 2 (September 24 to September 30, 2012)

You do things when the opportunities come along. I've had periods in my life when I've had a bundle of ideas come along, and I've had long dry spells. If I get an idea next week, I'll do something. If not, I won't do a damn thing.

Monday

Monday, perhaps one of the busiest days of the week. I did a lot of things last Monday. A lot of orders came in which means more pressures and stress. So, before starting everything... I watched some random guys play ball just outside my window. I enjoyed it and smiled before starting everything which feels really great. He he he! They're not really good players. (lol) I was laughing than smiling, actually.

Samsung Keystone 2 GT-E1200T (haul and review)

I recently got myself a Samsung Keystone 2 GT-E1200T phone. No, it is not a smartphone. I bought for the convenient of speed texting. Yep! I am a hardcore texter to my friends. We are always exchanging GMs (group messages) through text/sms. As you know, I do have a smartphone and I have thought of upgrading it to a more latest one but since it's still working well, I thought for it to stay since it'll be only use for e-mails (when I am not in the computer) and for some important chat apps to connect with friends and clients. I'm a big Samsung fan not only because it is made in Korea, Samsung products are also known for their really long lasting and very good quality products.
