For my stances, I guess we should have models by levels, i mean mothers, teenages and such. that way we can always see how those brands would look like when we buy them.
I guess that's good part time for a teenage. I have a friend who is a model during our college days. The perks is so good.

Modeling looks glamorous so more teens are enticed joining this industry. They love the fact that they can wear different clothes and show it off it on stage. My niece also wants to be a model too.
i would never make a model, i remember when I was fresh out from college and was trying a dress in one of the boutiques in the mall, I was asked by the designer to come observe modeling if I am interested and I may want to join. I did come and observe, but after seeing what is going on behind the scenes, I realized it is too much work and never for me. I love the corporate world much better, and later, the academe :) but yes, I admire them for the hardwork they do, it's not easy at all.
Perhaps, this is the trend for today. But I do know of a Triond friend, who is a model. She is 35 years old and she told me the modeling company where she is employed are currently looking for 'adult' models.
capitalism purports this industry sis, modeling, beauty pageantry, hollywood sustains a multibillion dollar beauty industry. Sadly it set precedent standards among the young ones, which often of negative connotation.
