A Torrent of Emotion
Tremendous feeling within
Powerful, like an eternal grin
The sound of singing above the din
Captures and holds me
It cannot be sin
To want to hold
How can I express it so
A waterfall, a torrent of emotion
Perhaps an ocean
Which may physically divide
But cannot hide that I care for her
Will never give up on her
And will try my hardest to help
Even when the odds
Feel too great
I could never hesitate
For such wonderful things
One must never wait
As they won't be
There forever
Someone so much alike
Is the unpredictable lightning strike
The strike that opens your eyes so that I
May gaze into them and see all the beauty
Of the world inside
