Day 2 - Where you would like to be in ten years

Photo grabbed edsss.tumblr.com

In ten years I'll be 29. I'm not afraid to reach that age, I will be thankful instead. Give me a second to think and imagine where would I be in ten years. Okay, maybe more than a second...

I am an ambitious person. I dream a lot and I work hard to achieve my dreams. I have lots of dreams that I, myself gets confuse sometimes which one to achieve first. Yea, that really happens.

There are times I want to be a teacher, a lawyer, a businesswoman, a mother(?!), a doctor, a nurse, a model (a Victoria Secret angel, maybe?), a successful webmaster (like Mark Zuckerberg. LOL) and a lot more.

Are you not confused? Good for you! Hahaha. But really, I'll be really happy and contented to achieve any of those mentioned professions above.

In 29, I see myself as successful career woman, with a boyfriend (or maybe a husband?), a happy life and family, a business (online or offline), a fashionista (maybe), and be a known website creator in the Philippines or all over the world. That's really my greatest ambition, at least now!

By that time, I have probably bought my parents their dream house and my own dream house (anywhere in the world) with a computer room where will be full of computer sets for my job, swimming pool, a garden and a house near a beach.

I don't want to delve too deep into this topic, as I know that I'll probably change my mind of where I'll want to be by the time I'm 29. But for the sake of today's topic, I have sketched my dream life for you above. It's totally based off of how I feel right now. comments

So many things can happen in ten years. It's good though to keep a record of this so you can compare yourself by that time.

I love your vision. I wasn't even in college when I was 19 but I was working already, I never imagined I would end up here. So who knows where you will be in ten years, with your ambitious drive, you will soar high.

Your dreams are not impossible. I'm nearing 29 and at my current state, I guess I have about 70% of what's listed on your goals... =)

oh Marie, your enthusiasm to life is so contagious, keep it going, keep the happy spirit in you. it's good you have these written down, you would have something to look back. unlike me, i wonder where I was at your age, haha, so far lagging behind probably. wish you very well.

Hmm let me think...I am where I want to be right now and I am probably be here still after 10 years. But maybe that time I am not dreaming for myself but for my kids.

When you're at your age now and you'll be opted to think ahead, there's a remote possibility that it's not gonna happen. LOL!

If I am asked the same question, I'd say I'd give it my best shot in whatever endeavors I undertake. I shall let life take me to wherever it wants to lead me. I won't be too hard on myself. I will take life as it comes. That's the only way to enjoy it.

How I envy you for being young and still planning your life ahead....gee I have three years before my life begins at 40 and still I am not rich and famous....I used to want those but having kids now and learning each day on true happiness, I have changed...my wants now are simple...just a long healthy life to spend with the ones I love and to become the person the Lord wants me to be....goodluck and may you be blessed with everything your heart desires and more....hugs from your ate Kulasa :)

Ever since I hate being asked this question. Wala sanang magagalit. But ever since dreams run into my mind, I always closed my eyes and look at the sky and whispered Lord, let your will be done. Para hindi ako masaktan.

Good luck in reaching your dreams Marie. As long as you believe and have faith you will definitely achieve all of them. I admire you for setting your life's direction this early.

thanks for sharing this, great that you have goals in life. just to share with you, when i was 19, i got a bachelor degree already and graduated with flying colors, and started working as a document analyst, living my dream...good salary and happy life, but somehow i failed...got married, had my boy and separated, i'm weak and my life turned upside down; lost interest with every job i got, i am hopping from one job to another until i ended up working in government (thanks for that professional eligibility that i got when i finished college) which last me 5 years; then at 28 I moved to Cambodia...a year after God gave me Isabelle and a happy family (that's 29)...:) you're right so many things could happen in time, things happen unexpected and always for a reason but no matter what up and down, i believe that God is there! keep reaching your goals and have faith, :)

People who set goals in life and those that paired it up with hard work to realise those goals are those who gets successful in life. I do believe, that the goals you set yourself to become will be your pathway to just whatever you want to be 10 years from now. Keep focus on those goals and work on it and you will look back at this very moment and thank yourself for sketching your life ahead.

you mentioned a lot of ambition that you want to achieve. That's good at least you are striving for the attainment of your goal. No matter what you'd become at that time what matters is that you are happy being who you are.. Godspeed for your journey Marie..
