Day 10 - Discuss your first love and first kiss

Ahhh! This is probably one of the most awkward post I have here. Yay! Talking about my first love and first kiss? Oh well, let's just get this started.

I've had my first serious relationship when I was fifteen years old. He was eighteen. Those were the days where Facebook doesn't exist and Friendster is the talk of the town. When he courted me, I must admit I don't have any special feelings for him aside from being a friend but as the days pass by, I fell in love with him. He is God-fearing, a singer in their church, respectful and a real gentleman.

It took us almost over a month before we get comfortable of our new relationship status. It took us a month before we started talking to each other around other people, but of course, we do always talk through text messaging. Yay! It took us that long before we hold each other hands. It was electrifying at first and awkward at the same time.

I was chosen by our school to join an essay writing competition. I want him to come with me in the competition, but only the contestants and coaches are able to go. Before I left the school, he kissed me. He kissed me in the moment I least expect he would. He kissed me around my friends which made me red as a tomato. Geez!!! Little did I know, kissing is much more electrifying than holding hands. And guess what, I won the essay writing contest. Hahaha.

Recalling it makes me giddy all over again. But too bad, things didn't turn out as we want it to be. He ended up being in the seminary and I, left the place because my parents were assigned to another province again. We lost contact and I couldn't even find him on Facebook. He was such an amazing young man. But, it is God's will to make him one of His ways.

I miss him every now and then, but, I'm okay now. I have moved on and I do hope he do too. I just wish and pray to God that he is happy with everything he does. ♥

To be honest, if I'd have a do over I'd reserve my first kiss for my wedding day. :)

Hmmm... first love and first kiss? These are considered most memorable events in a woman's life other than being a mother of course. You may not be destined for each other but you can always cherish the memories.
