Know What To Pack When Going on a Cruise Vacation

Cruising on the open sea can be both fun and relaxing. Cruise vacations are gaining in popularity as many people are discovering how enjoyable they can be. Packing for a cruise, however, is a totally different story. Cruisers are notorious for packing the wrong items for a pleasure cruise. By knowing what to pack, you will have a more enjoyable vacation.

Clothing.

The number of outfits you should pack for a cruise depends on the length of your trip. For longer voyages, try mixing and matching your outfits to save space. Cruise staterooms are notoriously small, so avoid over packing and running out of closet space. If the cruise offers a formal evening, pack a gown or tuxedo and dress shoes to complete the look.

Swimwear is a must for your ocean voyage. Pack a few swimsuits for lounging by the pool or soaking in the hot tub. Pastels and bright colors are the flavor of the day on a cruise. Go with accessories like straw hats, beaded sandals and fun earrings. Find coral purses for summer at LuxuryLane.com. Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must. Tropical sunshine can be fierce, and having the right supplies will help you to avoid a burn.

Packing for a cruise can be an adventure. The key is to leave enough room in your suitcase for souvenirs and other fun finds from your voyage. By bringing the essentials and packing the best accessories for your ocean trip, you will enjoy a cruise you won't soon forget. comments

we always pack light and yes, leaving room in the suitcase always come very very handy, haha, since you just won't know what more you'll put in it.

I am a bit OC when it comes to packing things when I go on travel, usually I packed a week before my departure date so I won't forget anything that I need.

Packing is my forte I guess, its much easier for me to pack than unpacking :) I always want to try cruising like out of the country or somewhere tropical.

I have the tendency to pack more than what I need. just to make sure I have extra in case there are delays in the trip.

I live in Florida, but I am not really interested in cruising. It reminds me of Titanic.

Great but lightweight only. I just realized how important it is.

We also love to travel light. I hate carrying so many unnecessary things. I tend to use vacuum bag to have more space in the bag and so our bags won't look so bulky.
