3 Days Vacation to Nasipit

After a year of waiting, I was finally able to go home. I mean HOME; the place where I was created, grew up, made friends and stuffs.

It wasn't really planned. Me, my mom, siblings and cousins (who live with us) was forced to go home because, my grandma was really crying over the phone and saying: "My time is near. I'm getting old and dying and I haven't seen all of you for ages." That's why and I really missed my Lola so much so we went home!

From Bislig City going to Butuan City will take seven to eight hours travel by bus. The fare cost around PHP240 - PHP250.

So, we left Bislig City at 4:00 in the afternoon and reached Butuan at 11:00 in the evening. We still haven't had our dinner by then and we are all starving. I forced mom to go to Jollibee for us to have our dinner and since there's no Jollibee in Bislig, the kids were extremely happy.

Posed before getting our order.

The kids were extremely happy to try the slides/games in the Jollibee. At least, while they were young they were able to experience this kind of fun because I never did when I was at their age. I'm happy for them!

It was Jane's first time to be in Jollibee and also in Butuan since she grew up in Bislig and her life evolved only in Bislig City. Just imagine the happiness she felt at that very moment! :)
My siblings are having fun.
After we had our dinner, we then directly went to Langihan to get another ride to Nasipit. There were no more jeepneys in the terminal that time and only buses left. So, we took the bus going to Cagayan de Oro. Nasipit is only 30 minutes (or 1 hour) away from Butuan. We reached home at exactly 12 in the midnight. Everyone's asleep already and we have to knock very loud for them to open the door for us. My Lola opened the door for us and I immediately hugged her and she was teary-eyed when I let go of her. She whispered to me that she really was very happy to see me and she also said I did get fat. (LOL)

Day one's over!

DAY 2

We had everything all planned for Day 2 of our 3-days vacation. First we all went to the cemetery to visit my Grandpa's grave. It has been a tradition in our family since he passed away. When there's a celebration we always go to his grave and since we got home late, we weren't able to visit him on his birthday that's why we went there in that day. It's better late than never.

In the cemetery, after giving our prayers for my Grandpa, we had drinks and foods with us to celebrate his birthday. We talked and laughed there like we are in our house. It just feels like he's around with us. He's not forgotten.

Second is, me, my mom and my three cousins went to Buenavista, Agusan del Norte just to meet some good old friends of ours, especially my mom's best friend whom she haven't seen for a while. (I forgot to take a picture of them together.)

And I saw this thing (I don't know what its called) that amazes me. It was there when I was still a little girl and until now it's still there. If I'm not wrong, that helps fishermen caught fishes.

Chillaxing and enjoying the view.

On our way back to Nasipit, we came across with one of my ninongs (godfather). I recognized him first because he is semi-bald since before and until now. He said I really got fat (ouch!)

I'm taller than him. LOL.
During the nighttime, my girls and I decided to went out and go to plaza. We planned to get some street foods but ended up having Cornetto.

We went out minus the kids, of course.
We weren't able to do anything on the 3rd day and we just stayed at home and had some rest. I slept beside my grandma in her room just like I used to do before. I was so skinny before, just like my grandma and now? o_O

My grandma said we can't fit in her bed anymore because I'm so fat and she laughed so hard. She just love teasing me so much and I love it when she laughs.

I'm definitely going back there next month for my grandma's 80th birthday! :))♥

Thank y'all for reading. God bless! comments

I feel you, Marie! When my lola said the same thing to me I freaked out and dropped everything and travelled 10 hours just to see her. She's better now thankfully.

It's great to be home with family and friends. It's something I don't often experience since leaving abroad.
