Love is The Reason

Finally, I have finished the story I've been writing for months already. I started writing this story since mid April and wow, I finished it in October; during my sembreak. I don't know if I will submit it to the editor of Precious Hearts Romance(s) or not. I've submitted one of manuscript before entitle Blood Compact, I guess it was February this year  and I waited till March to know the result if it was okay or not. And mid in March, I received an email from them saying the story was nice and well written but the only problem was it didn't reach 23,000 to 24,000 words. That's then I kinda lost my interest on submitting my manuscripts. But then around April, I found myself writing for another manuscript and I thought I can finish it in the same month but gosh, it took almost 6 months to finish it. What takes me so long so finish? School started and schedule was kinda crazy, and some extra activities with friends too.

Well, I'm thankful I finished it. I'm still hesitant to submit it or not. I might got rejected again and I dunno how would I feel when it happens. Anyway, I published the teaser online, maybe you guys wanna read it and till me what you think. Check out the link below:

Teaser: Love is The Reason

I'll still try to submit it though and if the result is positive, I might write for more. Writing Tagalog romance stories is my interest since first year high school. I even wrote one for the collection in our school library that time and I was so happy for the positive feedbacks from my classmates, schoolmates and even teachers.

I have a glossophobia -- also known as speech anxiety and it is the fear of public speaking. First two months in college, I almost give up because of the required actions that I need to be done and one of them is doing reports in front of many schoolmates. I'm afraid to talk to a bunch of people whom I really don't know personally. What I am most afraid of is that what will be their feedback. I've had enough of them and I don't want more. But thank God I've made it through..

And now today, I was assigned to read the bible in front of a lot of people and I don't know how to react.. I'm shaking since I heard that I was assigned to do it and until now. I know these people, but still I'm afraid.. I can't stand in front of a lot people and all of them are staring at me.

I'm thinking of declining it but I don't want people thinking that I am shy about God because I don't want to read His words. No! Its not that. Its just that I haven't overcome this fear yet since the sixth grade. I don't even know why I have this. It just suddenly came out of me when I was in a presentation in the fifth grade then I failed and they were all laughing at me and I went straight home crying. That's where it started! I love God and I have Him in my heart. But really, I don't know what to do.

Need your advice so bad. comments

私はあなたを愛して Therese

She's a lot smarter than me and can even speak Japanese fluently. I'm really amazed that she learned Japanese language in such a short period of time and now she's starting to learn how to read in Japanese!

Why So Hot Pau?

I'm kinda so into Paulo Avelino this days. He is just too hot to handle! By the way he is the new talent of Star Magic and ABS-CBN. He is from GMA Network. I just know him (not personally) when he transferred to the Kapamilya Network. His charm is just so extraordinary. No wonder some "gays" even gals are running after him!

I even made him (his photo) my desktop background in my laptop. HAHAHA! Look at that smile.. That's what I like most about him.
Hot right? :D

There's No Place Like Home

I miss my hometown. I surely do! Last December was the last time I went home to celebrate New Year with my Grandma and the whole clan of my mom. There's really no place like home. I've been longing to my grandma's hug, her recipes, her jokes, her horror stories and I super duper miss her smile.

You guess it right. I'm her favorite granddaughter. My cousins always bully me before because when they ask something to my Lola, they receive a "sermon" first. Unlike me, when I ask something she immediately give it to me as long as she have it. Things has changed now and Lola has love us all fairly.

Last New Year was a blast. Everyone's home. Some of my relatives from Cebu came home and everyone is happy even though we don't have extravagant foods in our table to celebrate the New Year.

I miss home. Unfortunately, we won't be able to go home this year because we are in a very tight budget.

This will be my late share for:

Through The Years

As I am browsing my photos in Facebook, I can't believe I'm almost 18 and the last 17 years was like a roller coaster ride for me. Many changes has happened and I'm proud of myself I did pass all of 'em and through the years here I am, standing still. As the sayings goes;
"Experience is the best teacher."
I guess its true. I've learned a lot of things from it. I admit, I've regret some things that happened to me in the past but I've realized that those are the things that made me who I am today and I should be thankful.
Through the years, I stand still.
So, I'm kinda bored.. I will just add more photos of me from the past years. I would understand if you won't take a look in it. I even don't want to.. Its not a nice view, but still I'm sharing it! :) So, let's get started.

Karawasan Festival 2011

According to Wikipedia, Karawasan is a collective name given to the member of the crab family found to be great in the salty and freshwater of Bislig City. The lavishness of such local local marine resources has, in fact, made Bislig City known to other places in the country. Every 18th of September, Bislig City celebrates its cityhood and as part of the Charter Day Celebration, various schools presents their ethnic dance because Karawasan is a festival of ethnic dances depicting the movement of crabs.

We've been living here in Bislig City for almost 4 years now but it is my first time to witness this Karawasan Festival ever. It is also because my younger brother (next to me) has joined this event for their school. I was really surprised that the Bislig City Heritage Park is so crowded that day, unlike the usual days you can only see one or two people there.

My younger brother in his ethnic costume.

But in all fairness, its a lot of fun. I actually see many tourist there which is (I guess) once in a blue moon happens. My younger brother's school just got the 4th place and they take home the Best Storyline Award. Not bad after all! :)

For all the classmates/schoolmates of my brother; please forgive me for the late uploads of the photos. Its just I forgot to transfer them as early as I could.

Scissor Me

I can't wait until my Auntie gets home this December. She promised me she'll design my nails. I have been anticipating to get one since I found out she do this stuffs. Because of my amazement, I even made a blog for her designs which is Maris' Nail Arts. Funny, because I am the one who's giving names to her designs which is very silly. Mind dropping by on her blog and take a look on her designs? You might like it!

Scenic Sunday #1

Hi everyone! A blessed Sunday to you all. Since it's Sunday I will post a picture of St. Vincent Parish Church in Bislig City. I really thank God that our city didn't get damaged by the past typhoons that hit Philippines and today is really a sunny day here which is really good. Finally, my mom was able to wash our curtains.

Isn't it stunning? Oh yes, it is. Wait until next Sunday. I will feature another beautiful place just at the back of the church. I can't wait.

Lechon for Everybody

I still remember how funny it was when we celebrated our New Year's Eve last December. We were expecting a big lechon in our table but instead a thinner lechon arrived in our house before the New Year countdown. But still, we celebrated our New Year happily. We didn't have many foods in our table to offer but we have enough for us, for our family. Well, I'm kinda excited on how we will celebrate our Christmas and New Year this year, especially my birthday. I hope it will be extra fun.

Lucky To Have Them

It just been 5 months ago since this friendship started. I didn't even thought that we will become good friends but we did, so I thank God for that. They are the most amazing and real friends that I had. I want you guys to meet my girls.

Joyce, me and Jhoy.
Before I forget, there's another one who's missing in the picture. Her name is Jennifer. See picture below! :)

Until now, I still remember the day when I first saw them. I am actually the quite type person but when we became friends, big changes happened to me. I became loud, I always laugh with them (which I really don't before) and I'm not afraid to speak when I'm them. SO, I thank God for having them in my life.

Because I'm a Smiler

Some of my friends know that I am a big fan of Miley Cyrus and now, you guys know too. I don't know, from the very first time I saw her in Disney Channel, I've really admired her since then.  And because I am a fan, a certified smiler... I dedicated a page for Miley which I entitled Miley Overdose. Every week, I will change the picture there into the most recent pic of The Teen Queen.

Everyone may know that Miley have changed a lot as the years passed by. But still, I remain as her fan and she's still my role model. She stayed strong when their family is being tested and her parents almost filed for a divorce, gladly it didn't pushed through.

One Cozy Afternoon

How would like to spend your free time when its raining hard? Well, nothing is much better than one hot coffee with puto and bibingka while Facebooking. Yesterday, I only want a cup of hot coffee because its really cold. I am thankful that Dad has bought 12 pieces of bibingka and also 12 pieces of puto which is just enough for all of us. One bibingka and puto each kid. (Oh yea, I still consider myself a kid.)

No interesting things is happening to me these past few days, really. I can't also think something creative to write. So, please bear with me in my "not-so-useful" posts.

Its Rainy. No Washy!

I am laughing with the title of this post! I dunno where I get that idea but I just feel like making it as the title. Its rainy here in Bislig today since last night. Me and my whole family was kinda afraid when we heard the news that the low pressure area in Mindanao is now a typhoon and they call it Bagyong Ramon. My Mom and I made plans the other day to wash the curtains today but since its raining hard we can't wash anything.

Orange Curtain
Mom is afraid that it won't get dry if we wash it today since Mr. Sun is absent. Its been a month since we last wash that curtain pictured above.

Anyway, Thanks Ate KM of  more than sexy for giving me the instructions on how to join blog memes. So I'm giving it a try and here it goes.

Spacecraft Reaches the Edge of the Solar System, Finally

After 33 years, the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) spacecraft Voyager 1 reached the edge of the solar system, where there is no outward motion of solar wind. According to the mission controllers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the US, Voyager 1 is about 17.4 billion kilometers from the Sun.

According to the reports, Voyager 1 has crossed into an area where the velocity of ionized gas (or plasma) that is emanating from the Sun has slowed to zero. This is said to be the final phase of the solar system exploration.

The Voyager 1 is one of the two spacecrafts that were launched to explore the planets of the outer solar system and the interplanetary environment. Their major objectives are to investigate the planet's atmosphere; characterize the satellites of the planets; provide improved values for the physical characteristics of the planet, its satellites, and any rings; and determine the magnetic field structure and characterize the composition and distribution of energetic trapped particles and plasma.

According to the Voyager scientists, they were not totally expecting that the twin spacecrafts will make it this far. Space exploration was still very new at that time, so there is no evidence that they can last that long in space. Still, they are hoping to have another 4 to 5 years for studies before their power sources is depleted.

Voyager 1 is said to be the furthest-travelled man-made object to leave the solar system.

Flawless Heart

I'm not saying I have a flawless heart (but I guess, I have). What I mean about the title is Heart Evangelista is flawless and getting more and more beautiful these days. I just can't get enough with her beauty! She's something. Since Gimmik and Berkz days, Heart Evangelista still got that goddess and angelic face and also the very flawless skin.

Heart Evangelista at Star Magic Ball 2011
Got that photo above in the StarStudio magazine; October issue I bought yesterday. She's a stunner, always will. In the Star Magic Ball 2011, Heart Evangelista and Lovi Poe are the only Kapuso Stars in the event. So glad that Heart Evangelista still got the respect of the big bosses of ABS-CBN. comments
